Setting up a new power connection

For new power connections, we will need to connect to the nearest electricity cable to your property, which can either be located overhead or underground. For underground connections, we will need to access the wiring to lay the new electricity cable by digging a trench and laying new tubing.

Before we begin, a new metering box will need to be installed on an external wall of your property. Our expert technicians will then attach the new electricity cable to your electricity meter before making the power cable live by connecting it to the existing power cable located on or near your property.

Our team will then carry out safety checks to make sure the electrical connection is secure and working properly.
